Professor Mbaye Diallo, entrepreneur Boury Ndao and Senegalese-Congolese journalist Florelle Manda have been appointed to the Presidential Council for Africa (Cpa) to French President Emmanuel Macron, informs Libération. Professor at the University of Lille, Mbaye Diallo is from Darou Mouhty, adds, for its part, Les Échos.

The mission of the Presidential Council for Africa is to “feed Emmanuel Macron’s African policy, to make him come up with proposals and to lower the perception of his policy on the continent”. Dialogue with the African diasporas of France to bring back to the Elysee the expectations of these communities is also one of the CPA’s missions.
