Bukola Elemide, Nigerian pop vocalist better known as Asa, has announced the release date for ‘Lucid’, her forthcoming album.

The 36-year-old artiste took to her Instagram page on Wednesday to share the pre-order link for the forthcoming body of work and the album artwork.

‘Lucid’ would be coming as a follow-up to ‘Bed of Stone’, her fourth studio album released in 2014, and on the back of ‘Asa’, ‘Live in Paris’, and ‘Beautiful Imperfection’.

It also comes after she dropped the official audios and visuals for ‘The Beginning‘ and ‘Good Thing‘, both of which are expected to be songs taken off the forthcoming project.

From being an ardent admirer of Marvin Gaye, Fela Kuti, and Bob Marley to becoming an artiste whose music-making preferences pervades cultures and climes, Asa’s artistic influence has undoubtedly grown over the years.

The singer, who plays ‎the guitar and trumpet and stays true to her ‎Afro-jazz‎, is one of the most successful non-conforming artiste Nigeria has produced.

She has also earned herself many awards and accolades.
