Fruits That Would Make Every Woman’s Skin Glow

The popular saying, “You are what you eat” should be everyone’s number one rule before deciding to eat anything.

There are many skin care products you can apply to your skin but if you aren’t eating healthy food to help your skin from within, your skin will look dull, unhealthy and undernourished.

There are many fruits that are nutritious and healthy but do you know some actually help your skin glow? Add these fruits to your daily meal and watch your skin glow.

1.   Apples

Apples are very rich in malic acid. This type of fruit acids is also known in the health world as alpha hydroxyl acid. Malic acid promotes healthier, firmer and youthful-looking skin by renewing skin cells without damaging the skin layer.

Apples also have high fiber content. Fiber helps to clean out the colon and promotes regular bowel movements, hence promoting clear pimple-free skin.

2. Bananas

Bananas contain high levels of potassium, which helps moisturizes and hydrates the skin, making it look youthful. Bananas contain various skin-healthy nutrients such as Vitamin A, B, and E. This nutrients work to maintain the elasticity of the skin,  prevent premature aging and wrinkles, rejuvenate the skin

3. Strawberries

Strawberries an alpha hydroxyl acid, known as salicylic acid and high Vitamin C content. They also contain a powerful anti-oxidant called ellagic acid, proven to prevent the destruction of collagen that leads to wrinkle formation.

4. Mango

Mangos are rich in vitamins A, E, C, and K, this is why mangoes help protect your skin from DNA damage and inflammation. Sweet and fleshy mangoes work miraculously well when it comes to rejuvenating the skin.  They are also rich in sugar and dietary fiber, which helps treat constipation. In fact, mangoes are already used in the cosmetic industry to create hair and skin butter that have shown wound healing properties.

5. Grapes

Red or green grapes are loaded with resveratrol, an antioxidant. It is also a rich source of vitamins C, K, and folate and minerals such as calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. Plus, grape seed extract has skin rejuvenating, protecting, and healing properties. Grapes can be added to your daily meals or can be taken as a snack.
