Ghanaian actress Yvonne Nelson has taken the President Nana Akufo-Addo to the cleaners for designing fliers about commissioning and distribution the ambulance.
The actress and movie producer stated that the ambulances should have been distributed long ago to help save our dying health system.
In a tweet sighted online Yvonne Nelson said the Ghanaians have lost if they see nothing wrong with the designing posters for the commissioning and distribution of the ambulances.
She added the president needs to put a stop to the creation of popsters for everything because he is not starring in a movie
“How on earth are we designing posters for the commissioning and distribution of OUR ambulances that should have been sent ages ago to help save Ghanaians! Enough of the POSTERS. This ain’t a MOVIE! Our Health system s*cks! We’ve lost our way!”
Yvonne Nelson has in recent times been very vocal about social and political issues.
Nana Addo commissioned and distributed 307 brand new ambulances today.
Sharing photos from a special ceremony, he wrote:
“On Tuesday, 28th January, 2020, I commissioned and presented 307 brand new, state-of-the-art ambulances, fitted with advanced life support equipment and tracking devices, to be distributed to 275 constituencies, i.e. 1-Constituency-1-Ambulance, to be managed by the National Ambulance Service, and the remainder of 32 ambulances to the headquarters of the Service. This is the single largest presentation of ambulances made to the Ghana Ambulance Service, since its establishment in 2004.
As against the scenario whereby 1 ambulance served approximately 524,000 people at the end of December 2016, today, we have a much-improved ratio of 1 ambulance serving approximately 84,000 people.”
