Revered TV personality Oprah Winfrey has shut down claims that she has been arrested.
Oprah clarified she has been ”self-quarantining” and trying to sanitise and is not behind bars, as alleged by some news outlets.
In a tweet, the media mogul confirmed there was no raid at her place and urged her fans to relax as she was safe.
The TV queen also asked her fans to take care of themselves.
According to Oprah, she was shocked when she received a call informing her she was trending on Twitter over the alleged arrest.
”Just got a phone call that my name is trending. And being trolled for some awful fake thing. It is not true. I have not been raided, or arrested. Just sanitising and self distancing with the rest of the world. Stay safe everybody.” she wrote.
